JOHNSTOWN, Penn. – The King University men's wrestling team picked up a pair of wins Sunday afternoon, topping Shippensburg University 33-7 and beating Seton Hill University 31-14. The lone loss on the day came to no. 13 University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown, 33-10 in the first dual of the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED – PITT.-JOHNSTOWN
- Following a Mountain Cats win at 125 pounds, Franky Medina picked up a 10-4 decision victory at 133 pounds, tying the dual at three.
- No. 6 Christian Small racked up bonus points in a 14-3 major decision victory over Caleb Morris to give King a 7-3 lead.
- Pitt.-Johnstown would win the next four bouts before Dallin Ewart won a 10-6 decision at 184 pounds for his first win in a King singlet.
- The final two bouts both went to Pitt-Johnstown, who won via back-to-back first period falls to win the dual 33-10.
HOW IT HAPPENED - SHIPPENSBURG
- Elijah Hicks kicked things off at 125 pounds with a tech fall win over Josh Jackson, needing just 4:04 to win 16-0.
- After Medina claimed a forfeit win at 133 pounds. Small picked up his second win of the day, a 3-0 decision over DeAndre Reed.
- Demetri Teddlie claimed the second win via forfeit of the day for the Tornado at 149 pounds before Dallas Boone won at 157 via major decision to give the Tornado a 24-0 lead.
- David Varner earned a 10-5 victory over John Bachar at 165 pounds to extend the Tornado lead to 27-0.
- After a Shippensburg win at 174 pounds, Ewart won a 5-0 decision at 184 pounds to give the Tornado a 30-3 lead.
- At 197 pounds, Samari Suddeath picked up a 9-3 win over Connor Livingston, extending the lead to 33-3. Shippensburg would win at 285 pounds, but the Tornado took the dual 33-7.
HOW IT HAPPENED – SETON HILL
- Rylee Billings started the dual with a win via fall over Frank Bonura, needing just 4:13 to earn six points for King.
- After a Seton Hill win at 133 pounds, Small won his second major decision of the day, this one by a score of 12-1 to give King a 10-3 lead.
- Teddlie and Varner both claimed forfeits at 149 and 165 pounds, with a Griffins' victory sandwiched in between at 157 pounds.
- Ewart picked up his second win of the day, pinning Riley O'Mara in 4:23, extending the Tornado lead to 28-11.
- The final win for King came at 285 pounds, where Jeremiah Good earned a 13-6 decision over Sawyer Daugherty, clinching a 31-14 win.

- The Tornado will return to South Atlantic Conference Carolinas action on Thursday when they travel to Greenwood, S.C. to face Lander University.
