MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The King University men's soccer team traveled to take on one of the top teams in Conference Carolinas on Saturday afternoon. The University of Mount of Olive scored four second-half goals to defeat the Tornado 6-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Mount Olive started on the attack with two corner kicks and four shots in the opening 15 minutes.
- The pressure paid off in the 18th minute when Luka Perendija found the back of the net.
- One minute later, Pablo Herrera extended the Trojan lead to 2-0.
- Ben Colburn had the first shot for the Tornado in the 23rd minute before Pedro ripped a shot that was saved in the 27th minute.
- In the opening 45 minutes, Mount Olive outshot King 14-2 with three shots on target.
- Mount Olive extended the lead with a penalty kick goal in the 53rd minute and added another in the 59th minute.
- In the 74th minute, Campbell Moore found Kenneth Walton who got the Tornado on the board.
- However, Mount Olive scored two more goals to take the contest 6-1.

- The goal for Walton is his seventh of the season.
- Collin Teperino made five saves for the Tornado.
