King finishes seventh at national championships

TEMPE, Ariz. – The King University women's triathlon team finished seventh Women's Collegiate Triathlon National Championship on Saturday. King was led by Abbie Erme who finished 34th.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Erme started with a swim of 11:50.3 and followed that with a bike of 40:20.9.
  • She closed with a run of 23:08.0 for a total time of 1:17:16.4.
  • In her first triathlon, Kiley Krasley finished 37th with a time of 1:20:21.8. She started with a swim of 15:35.4 and followed that with a bike of 37:37.3
  • Krasley closed with a run of 25:20.9.
  • Jayne Wolbert finished 39th with a time of 1:21:34.0. She started with a swim of 11:20.4
  • Wolbert followed that with a bike of 40:49.4 and a run of 27:21.6.
  • Elizabeth Rehkopf opened with a swim of 11:20.3 and a bike of 49:09.2.
  • She finished with a run of 31:05.9 for a total of 1:33:45.1 to finish 49th.
FOR THE FOES
  • Julia Kekkonen was the individual champion with a time of 1:06:54.5.
