BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University women's tennis team opened their spring season on Wednesday against Bluefield State College.
Mishka Koricinova earned a singles win, but that was it for the Tornado as Bluefield state won the dual 6-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Big Blue won the doubles point, taking No. 1 and No. 2 doubles matches 6-1 and 6-3.
- In singles play, Koricinova defeated Virginia Zanotti 6-3, 7-5 at the second flight.
- At No. 5 singles, Marilyn Roustand played tough, but fell to Paula Saez 6-3, 6-4.
- Bluefield State won the other four singles matches to take the dual 6-1.
UP NEXT
- King is in action again on March 15 when they host Lenoir-Rhyne University. The dual is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
- Bluefield State next travels to West Virginia State University on March 14.
