SUMTER, S.C. – Two King University women's tennis players were selected to play in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Southeast Regional over the weekend. Both
Deniz Aytun and
Mishka Koricinova dropped both of their singles matches.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Aytun fell to Lees-McRae College's Rhidaim Yang 6-2, 6-4 in the opening match before falling to Pauling Loretz of Tusculum University 7-5, 6-1 in the consolation bracket.
- Koricinova opened with a 6-0, 7-6 (7-5) defeat to Annika Harkovirta of Wingate University before falling to Carson-Newman University's Anita Chornei 6-0, 6-0 in the consolation bracket.
- In doubles, the duo of Aytun and Koricinova fell to Barton College's Tilde Howeler and Irma Granstam 8-0.
