HICKORY, N.C. – In their third meet in eight days, the King University women's swimming team fell to Lenoir-Rhyne University 137-95.
Abbie Erme led the way, setting a school record in the 50 yard breaststroke.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Erme touched the wall in 32.52 seconds to win the 50 yard breaststroke and set a new school record.
- Gwen Haag finished third in the event with a time of 35.40 seconds.
- The relay team of Cassie Lowe, Erme, Reese Lauletta and Katie Koenst opened the meet with a win in the 400 yard medley relay with a time of 4:11.86.
- Fanny Legros finished runner-up in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 2:09.72 while Isabella Monceaux came in fourth with a time of 2:18.22.
- Lowe won the 50 yard backstroke with a time of 28.87 seconds.
- In the 100 yard butterfly, Lauletta and Koenst finished second and third with times of 1:04.18 and 1:04.65, respectively.
- Gracie Lynch touched the wall in 1:12.05 to take fifth.
- Lowe won 50 yard freestyle with a time of 25.92 seconds while Erme came in third with a time of 27.62 seconds.
- Monceaux finished runner-up in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 1:02.78 while Lynch touched the wall in 1:07.64 to take fourth.
- Erme won the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:10.59 while Koenst and Legros finished third and fourth. Koenst finished in 1:12.54 while Legros touched the wall in 1:15.47.
- Monceaux touched the all in 6:17.30 to take fourth in the 500 yard freetsyle.
- Lauletta and Lynch finished second and third in the 50 yard butterfly with times of 28.99 and 31.97, respectively.
- Koenst finished the 400 yard individual medley with a time of 5:01.97 to take second.
- The group of Haag, Legros, Lauletta and Lowe finished runner-up in the 400 yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:59.06.

- King is in action again on Saturday at Mars Hill University where they will take on the host Lions and Lees-McRae College at 11:00 a.m.
