BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University women's tennis team won two of the three doubles matches Saturday afternoon, but despite winning the doubles point the Tornado fell to Francis Marion University, 6-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Deniz Aytun and Mishka Koricinova won their match at no. 1 singles, 6-2 while at the second flight Mireia Mas Ortega and Neem Shamsuddin won 6-2 to claim the point, while FMU won at no. 3 doubles by default.
- After the Patriots picked up a win at no. 1 singles, Koricinova won the first set in her match at no. 2 singles 7-5 before dropping the final two sets 6-2, 6-1.
- Shamsuddin narrowly fell in the third singles flight, dropping a 7-5, 6-3 match.
- Mas Ortega held tight at no. 4 singles before falling 6-3, 6-3 before the Patriots won the final two matches via default.
