Central, S.C. – The King University women's volleyball team battled hard on the road Saturday afternoon but came up short against Southern Wesleyan, falling 3–0 inside Tysinger Gymnasium. The Tornado (9–15, 7–10 Conference Carolinas) pushed the Warriors in the final two sets, showing resilience and determination despite the sweep.
Set One
Southern Wesleyan came out strong, hitting .209 as a team to take the opener 25–12. King struggled to find its rhythm offensively but leaned on its defense, with
Faith Morse anchoring the back row.

The Tornado regrouped and nearly stole momentum in the second frame. Behind the steady setting of

Gracia Love, King kept the set tight before the Warriors edged out a 25–22 win.
