Belmont, Va. – The King University women's volleyball team earned a decisive road sweep on Wednesday evening, defeating Ferrum College 3–0 inside Swartz Gymnasium. The Tornado (10-14, 8-9 Conference Carolinas) controlled the match from start to finish, using a balanced attack and steady defense to secure the victory over the Panthers (4-20, 1-16 Conference Carolinas).
Set One
King overcame a slow start but found its rhythm late, hitting .108 as a team while holding Ferrum to just .081. Behind the efficient play of
Riley Nelson and
Gracia Love, the Tornado pulled away down the stretch to take the opening set 25–20.
