King Finishes Final Day of Cycling MTB National Championships

The Tornado Cycling team competed in the final day of the MTB National Championships

Mesa, Colo. – The King University Cycling team competed in two events today. The first event was the Downhill, and the second was XCC.

The day began with Downhill as Colin Burgess competed in his second event for the weekend. He finished in 5:53.17, averaging 34.44 km/h, and placed 43rd.

King had five athletes represent them in the XCC with Nathan Feduniw, Jose Pena, Jayson Wallace, Cooper Ward, and Ian Kangas.

Feduniw led the way for the Torando with Pena right with him in 29th and 44th place.

Ward, Wallace, and Kangas all finished in close times 53rd, 54th, and 62nd place respectively.
