Final Regular Season Race Comes to an End for Triathlon at Lake Davidson

Davidson, N.C. – The King University Triathlon team finished their regular season at the Lake Davidson Sprint Triathlon. The team went against eight other colleges from around the area to gear up for the Conference Carolinas Championships.
 
Alexis LaDuc came across the finish line as the first King athlete in 1:11:26.03. LaDuc trailed in the middle of the pack during the swim with a time of 11:42, then had a strong bike of 36:28 to push her into the final transition, finishing with a final split of 22:56 and placing 25^th.
 
Jordan Houck and Polly Lounsbury both competed neck and neck all day today. Lounsbury finished ahead with a time of 1:17:03.16 in 31^st place, with Houck right behind her in 33^rd place with a time of 1:18:58.22.
 
Hailey Mikel finished with a time of 1:34:20.39 in 41^st place.
