MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. – The King University women's swimming took to the pool again on Friday night at Milligan College. The Tornado came up short, falling to the Buffaloes 189-61.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tornado 400 meter medley relay team of Samantha Davis, Abbie Erme, Stephanie Dansie and Brooke Williams started the meet with a runner-up finish in 4:59.0.
- Ashley Woods finished third in the 1500 meter freestyle with a time of 19:34.90.
- In the 200 meter freestyle, Jayne Wolbert finished third with a time of 2:27.61.
- Samantha Davis touched the wall in the 100 meter backstroke in 1:13.07 to take second.
- Erme and Gwen Haag finished third and fourth in the 100 meter breaststroke with times of 1:23.36 and 1:27.09, respectively.
- Dansie won the 200 meter butterfly with a time of 2:36.74.
- In the 50 meter freestyle, Madi Matthews finished second with a time of 28.34 seconds while Davis came in third at 29.74 seconds.
- Williams finished the 100 meter freestyle in 1:05.58 to take second.
- Dansie came in with a third place finish in the 200 meter breaststroke with a time of 2:58.64.
- Wolbert finished third with a 400 meter freestyle time of 5:17.06.
- In the 200 meter individual medley, Dansie came in third with a time of 2:38.90.
- The group of Williams, Davis, Michelle Morlock and Matthews finished third with a time of 2:01.26.

- King returns to the pool on Friday at Emory & Henry College. The meet is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m.
- Milligan competes at the Appalachian Athletic Conference Championships on February 11-13.
