MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The King University women's swimming team traveled to Chowan University and picked up a win their regular season finale. The Tornado picked up a 109-79 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- King started off the day with a win in the 200 meter medley relay. The team of Samantha Davis, Abbie Erne, Steph Dansie and Madi Matthews finished in a time of 2:09.54.
- Ashley Woods and Jayne Wolbert placed second and third in the 800 meter freestyle, posting times of 9:54.14 and 10:32.35 respectively.
- Dansie also placed first in the 200 meter freestyle as she touched the wall with a time of 2:19.67. Alexia Autrey placed fourth in the same event as she posted a time of 2:44.78.
- Dansie picked up yet another win in the 200 meter individual medley after finishing the race with a time of 2:33.72. Erne took second in the same event after touching the wall in 2:44.57.
- Michelle Morlock posted a time of 1:16.60 to take third in the 100 meter butterfly.
- Matthews tallied another event win, this time in the 100 meter freestyle when she touched the wall at 1:02.07. Gwendolyn Haag took third in the same event after posting a time of 1:08.14.
- Brooke Williams froze the clock at 1:13.70 to win the 100 meter backstroke event.
- Erne and Haag took first and second in the 100 meter breaststroke by recording times of 1:21.15 and 1:22.23.
- The Tornado ended the day just like it started. The quartet of Davis, Williams, Wolbert and Woods posted a time of 4:24.55 to win the 400 meter freestyle relay.
