EMORY, Va. – The King University women's swimming team put together a solid performance on Friday night at Emory & Henry College. The Tornado came away with a 120-49 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- King started the meet with a 200 meter medley relay time of 2:14.32 from the group of Samantha Davis, Gwen Haag, Michelle Morlock and Brooke Williams.
- Jayne Wolbert won the 800 meter freestyle with a time of 10:50.27.
- In the 200 meter freestyle, Madi Matthews came in first at 2:19.54 while Abbie Erme came in next at 2:28.48.
- Davis led three Tornado in the 50 meter freestyle with a runner-up time of 29.65 seconds.
- Williams came in third at 30.13 seconds and Morlock fourth at 30.88 seconds.
- Ashley Woods won the 200 meter individual medley with a time of 2:44.71.
- In the 200 meter butterfly, Stephanie Dansie touched the wall first in 2:39.55.
- Matthews won the 100 meter freestyle with a time of 1:02.62 while Morlock came in third at 1:07.07 and Williams touched the wall in 1:07.21.
- Dansie came in first in the 200 meter backstroke with a time of 2:39.07.
- Woods finished the 400 meter freestyle in a winning time of 4:58.15.
- Erme won the 200 meter breaststroke with a time of 2:57.87.
- The 200 meter freestyle relay team of Matthews, Davis, Wolbert and Dansie finished the meet with a time of 2:01.26.

"We had a lot of fun racing tonight and we really enjoyed this meet. We are a little tired from a hard week of training, but are getting some much needed race experience. The team is really coming together right now, and I can't say enough good things about these young men and women.
