WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The King University track and field teams competed in their second event of the season Sunday, at the COROS Collegiate Challenge, with
Kolin Miller bringing home a pair of top-10 finishes.

HOW IT HAPPENED - MEN
- Miller had a pair of top-10 finishes, including third place in the weight throw with a mark of 16.07 meters. He also placed ninth in the shot put with a mark of 12.75 meters.
- Bryson Gilliam finished seventh in the 400 meters, crossing the line in 54.32 seconds, with Matthew Henfield finishing ninth in 54.70 seconds.
- In the 200 meters, Clathon Henfield finished ninth, finishing in 24.08 seconds.
- Jordan Keith brought home a sixth-place finish in the 800 meters, with a time of 2:01.99.
HOW IT HAPPENED - WOMEN
- Katy Neubert won the 800 meters, crossing the line in 2:24.63, with Mandy Lowery placing eighth with a time of 2:33.63.
- Morgan Whitley took ninth in the 3000 meters, with a personal record time of 10:59.16.
- Whitley was also the top finisher in the mile, placing 14th with a time of 5:33.52 which is a new personal record, with Neubert and Lowery finishing 18th and 15th, respectively.
- Caitlyn Paulins set a personal record in the 200 meters, with a time of 29.46 seconds, while Emily Christian had a time of 28.22 seconds.

- The indoor season will continue next weekend for the Tornado when they compete at the VMI Winter Challenge.
