Pedro Herrera scored in the 77th minute Thursday afternoon as the King University men's soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw with Converse, their second such result in three days against the Valkyries.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Despite the Valkyries earning a handful of corner kicks early, neither team got any offense until the 41st minute, when Erick Martinez took the first shot on goal of the match for either team, coming off a free kick.
- Coming out of halftime, Converse got a shot on goal just six minutes into the half, but it was stopped by Gauthier Lumale.
- The Valkyries goal came in the 62nd minute, coming off a corner kick to put the visitors ahead 1-0.
- Herrera struck for his goal in the 77th minute, evening the score at one with under 15 minutes to play.
- Both teams took a pair of shots in the final 10 minutes, but none of them were able to find the net, as other then a pair of late corner kicks, neither team was able to produce any further offense.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- It was the fourth goal of the season for Herrera, who had two shots on the day.
- Lumale made just the one save in goal, playing the full 90 minutes.
- Renan Caruso and Martinez also had shots on goal.
FOR THE FOES
- Luis Fortuce scored the goal for the Valkyries, his third of the season.
- Mateo Sanchez finished with a pair of saves.
