Olivia Seston of the women's soccer team and
Edu Elizaran Galan of the men's swim team have been named the Delta Blues King SAAC Student-Athletes of the Month for October.
Seston, a junior from Shawnee, Kansas, was the goal keeper for the Tornado's nine games in October, playing all 810 minutes. She had 47 saves and had her first career shutout in a 1-0 Conference Carolinas win over North Greenville on Oct. 12. She has a career-high 9 saves at Belmont Abbey on Oct. 2. She was named the Delta Blues King Female Athlete of the Week on Oct. 14.
Elizaran Galan, a freshman from Coroba, Spain, made an instant impact on the King men's swim team in his freshman season. Twice he was named the Conference Carolinas Male Swimmer of the Week in October for his performances at the King Invitational and a tri-meet against Emory & Henry and Lees-McRae. He picked up two individual wins in the tri-meet on Oct. 26 in the 200 yard freestyle (1:44.84) and the 100 yard backstroke (53.29). He won the Delta Blues King Male Athlete of the Week on Oct. 28.
