CARY, N.C. – The King University men's swim team finished the third day of competition at the Conference Carolinas Championships with multiple A-final appearances and two individual podium finishes.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oscar Kroos opened the men's evening competition with a win in the 400-yard IM. He cut five seconds off his time from the morning's prelims to finish with a time of 3:59.25.
- Edu Elizaran Galan took the silver in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 50.35.
- Vlad Fedoseev won the consolation finals of the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 51.31. Teammate Matthew Montenegro-Strunk finished two places back in 11th with a time of 52.15.
- In the 200-yard freestyle, Sam Osowiecki took sixth place in the A-final touching the wall at 1:41.62.
- Patricio Perezpuebla Quijano swam a 58.37 in the 100-yard breaststroke for a 10th place finish.
- Osowiecki, Perezpuebla Quijano, Kroos, and Montenegro-Strunk concluded the day's competition with a fifth place finish in the 400-yard medley relay with a total time of 3:27.21.
