BRISTOL, Tenn. – Nine King University student-athletes were named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Tuesday afternoon, with five men's soccer players and four women's soccer players earning the honors.

Eric Swain were honored, while

Rachel Radow,
Gretchen Grambow and
Catherine Domecq earned the honor from the women's team.
Caruso, a senior from Caxambu, Brazil, played in 14 matches, making four starts. He notched a pair of assists, with the first coming Sept. 14 against Young Harris before recording another Oct. 19 against Lees-McRae. He took a season-high three shots on goal Oct. 2 in a 1-0 win at Belmont Abbey.
Moriarty, a senior from East Longmeadow, Mass., started all 15 games, playing the full 90 minutes in 14 of those 14 games. In his Tornado career, he has appeared in 21 games, with 20 starts. He averaged 89.5 minutes per game this season, the most on the team.
B. Moore, a junior from Dublin, Va., played in 14 games this season, with 12 starts. He scored his first career goal Nov. 3 in the season finale at Southern Wesleyan, helping the Tornado to a 2-0 victory. He also recorded an assist Oct. 12 in a 1-0 win over North Greenville.
Swain, a sophomore from Marietta, Ga., appeared in 15 games this season, with 12 starts. He played the full 90 minutes Oct. 24 in a 1-1 draw against Converse, averaging over 60 minutes per game. In his career, he has appeared in 27 games, making 19 starts for the Tornado.
A. Moore, a junior from Dublin, Va., played in 15 games, with eight starts this season. He had a goal Sept. 14 against Young Harris, a day where he also had an assist for the Tornado. It was the second consecutive game where he picked up an assist, having also gotten one Sept. 7 at Tusculum, a 2-0 Tornado victory.
Thauer, a junior from Grand Island, N.Y., started all 15 games for the Tornado, scoring a goal and picking up an assist. Her goal came Oct. 9 against Emory & Henry, with her assist coming Sept. 14 in a 1-1 draw against Young Harris. She played the full 90 minutes in all but one game on the season.
Radow, a junior from Reno, Nev., played in 13 games, making 10 starts. She had the lone goal in a King 1-0 win over North Greenville on Oct. 12, and played the full 90 minutes on three separate occasions.
Grambow, a sophomore from Prosper, Texas, played in 15 games this season, making 11 starts. She scored the lone goal Oct. 16 in a 1-1 draw at Lees-McRae, and played the full 90 minutes six times, including both of the final two games of the season.
Domecq, a junior from Odenton, Md., started in 14 of the 15 games she appeared in, playing the full 90 minutes 14 different times. In the season finale at Southern Wesleyan, she had four shots, three of which were on goal, leading the Tornado in shots on goal that day.
